In gallery apps and similar apps, transparent areas may be shown as white or black, but the transparent areas are still there in the image. If you import it into an app that supports transparency (such as a video editing or image editing app), you can use it with a transparent background.
*If you chose a colour such as white or black under "Background" on the "Finishing" screen before saving, the image will be filled with that colour.
