No. Background removal and editing are all done on your device. We never send your photos or the images you make to our servers, or store them there. No account registration is required either.
The app may send us anonymous usage data to help improve it, but it never sends your photos themselves. If you'd rather not send this data, you can turn off "Send Usage Data" under "App Information" > "Analysis and Improvements" in Settings.
